BIO
Audio Producer | Voiceover Artist | Sound Designer
Mike has been living and breathing audio production since he first got into radio at age 18.
For nearly three decades, he was the creative force behind world-class radio imaging, jingles, and promos for Triple M Australia, where he also served as the network’s voice since 1997. His production style has always blended rock energy, humour, and sound design, crafting everything from hard-hitting music promos to intricate comedy soundscapes.
Beyond Triple M, Mike spent 13 years producing imaging for Radio Hauraki in New Zealand, shaping the sound of one of the country’s most iconic rock stations. He also worked for 10 years with Benztown Branding, creating custom radio imaging for over 30 stations across the U.S., delivering high-energy branding that connected with diverse audiences.
Over the years, his work has been a unique mix of rock mashups and jingles—a signature style that defined much of Triple M’s sound. In the station’s early years, comedy was a huge part of the brand, and Mike thrived in that space, bringing humour and personality to his image of the station..
Now, after wrapping up an incredible 29 ½ years at Triple M Sydney, Mike is diving headfirst into the freelance world—ready to collaborate with new people, brands, and creative projects.
A natural storyteller and sound designer, Mike specializes in:
Voiceover – Authentic Aussie sound, heard across radio and commercials.
Audio Production – Concert promos, music editing, station imaging, and branded audio.
Sound Design – Comedy production, audio post, and creative storytelling through sound.
Based in Sydney, Mike works remotely from his home studio and is open to freelance gigs across radio, podcasting, advertising, and beyond.
