Luke Rodely is a skilled and versatile cinematographer, camera operator, and focus puller whose passion for storytelling and technical expertise have earned him recognition across a range of cinematic projects. Luke has contributed to compelling documentaries, including “Mystery Bites” (SBS), “Juanita” (ABC), “Stuff The British Stole” (ABC), and “The First Inventors” (Network 10). His experience extends to reality TV, where he’s worked on shows like “The Voice” (Seven), Australian Idol (Seven), “Luxe Listings” (Amazon Prime), and “Mastermind” (SBS). In the commercial sphere, he has collaborated on TVCs for brands such as Sydney Water, Toyota, and Politix, and shot music videos for artists like Polish Club, Dean Lewis, and rising star Mikayla Pasterfield.
With extensive experience as a 1st Assistant Camera, Luke has honed his craft with leading DOPs across numerous high-profile TVCs, branded content, and music videos, managing setups on diverse cameras including ARRI, RED, and Sony camera systems. His technical proficiency encompasses vehicle rigging, gimbal operating with systems such as the Ronin 2 and Movi Pro, and has a suite of professional tools, from and wireless video lens control systems.
