Andrew Bell

BIO

An editor from an early age, Andrew first discovered his love of film in early high school. He would often be found cutting his own short films using two VCRs and an ancient mixing desk instead of attending class – a trend that would continue during his time at UNSW.

Midway through university, Andrew took a job at Singleton, Ogilvy & Mather as a Dubbing Assistant – a job that saw him copying tapes all day. Ten years later, SO&M had become simply Ogilvy and Andrew left the company as Head of Post Production having created work for some of Australia’s biggest brands and most iconic campaigns including I Still Call Australia Home for QANTAS and Telstra’s I Am Australian.

After a brief stint freelancing with RMK Crew, Andrew joined Oxygen360 as Post Production Supervisor, Senior Editor and Lead Motion Designer. Heading an ever changing team, Andrew oversaw and created numerous TVCs and shortform content pieces, as well as being instrumental in the launch of NBCUniversal’s E! brand in Australia.  His work for E! includes helping create the E! Host Australia Special as well as co-developing, editing, designing and post producing The Hype. Andrew also helped co-develop, edit, design and post produce Cruise Mode, a lifestyle and motoring show for Network Ten.

Andrew has now re-entered the world of freelancing and is once again available through RMK Crew.  Always ready for a new challenge, Andrew prides himself on his ability to interpret any brief objectively and provide a fresh perspective whilst working in conjunction with clients expectation. Andrew is always open to new and original ideas, especially the weird and wonderful!

Andrew also has a studio in Balmain East that is equipped with Creative Cloud.
